Brimlet

Turn the cave. The lava does the rest.

Brimlet is a small pool of living lava trying to reach the sea. You never push him. You turn the rock around him, and gravity pours him on, through tubes that cool him a little more with every chamber.

A finger circles the lens, the cave turns, and the drops roll shelf by shelf toward the blue at the bottom.

Layer one · heat

Hot enough to squeeze, cold enough to shatter

Every drop carries its own heat, and the tubes keep taking it away. That is the puzzle. Some gates want lava glowing hot, others only give way to rock that has already set.

Molten

Runs, clings together, slips through hairline cracks and sets dry tinder roots alight.

Crusting

Slow and sticky. Roll it through a magma well before it's too late.

Obsidian

Heavy black glass that rolls like a marble and cracks the seals nothing else can.

Layer two · the descent

Six reaches down to the sea

The tubes fork as they go. Pick a branch, come back for the other, and look into the side pockets where the rarer stones hide. Each chamber is graded by the rock it leaves behind: scoria, basalt, or a perfect sheet of obsidian.

Layer three · the ledge

Gleam keeps a ledge by the tide pool

Every chamber you clear leaves a specimen: pillow basalt, Pele's hair, a lavacicle. Bring them, and the flints you find, to an old hermit crab with an obsidian shell.

Tempers to carry into the tubes: a deeper ladle, a slag coat that keeps the heat in.
Glazes that dye your molten drops sulfur gold, copper, rose or brimstone blue.
Barter: three of a kind for one rarer find.

And when you just want to watch it flow

Three open caverns, a ladle that never runs dry, no goal and no fail. Swirl a pool around the dish on the main screen, or tip the phone and let real gravity steer. A core column of strata fills as you go, and a seismograph keeps note of every tremor.
